The market close by -0.7% today after rallying for the last 4 days of trading. It is now sitting at its support level of 6,700.       

The index closed at Index level of 6,774.68 but noticeably with net foreign value of -232.6 Million, before the pre close period, market has a net foreign buying of around 60 + Million.

For the index sector, service (-1.87%)  and property stocks (01.42%) led the correction while mining (+0.19%) and financed (1.24%) sector ended gains for the day.

For the Blue-chip index index gainers led by JGS (3.12%) and Banco de Oro (2.54%) while losers led by Monde (-6.33%) and Globe Telecoms (-6.18%). Monde may have been pricing in the results of the MSCI rebalancing.

Majority of ASIAN stocks are in green today, Shenzhen leading the pack at +1.92% and +Taiwan at 1.19

Out of the 11 stocks previously mention to be suspended on trading by June 1, 2022 by PSE, 5 of which have not yet submitted either the annual earnings report or their Q1, 2022 earnings are subject for suspension in trading. The other 5 who completed the requirements will continue to be traded on the PSE market.

According to the disclosure notice on PSE Edge on May 30, 2022 Update on Non-Compliance with Structured Reportorial Requirements of the Exchange;

This is with reference to PSE EDGE Disclosure Notice No. DN00055-2022 dated May 24, 2022. As previously announced, pursuant to Article VII, Section 17.2 in relation to Section 17.8 of the Consolidated Listing and Disclosure Rules, as amended (the “Rules”), continued non-compliance with the Exchange’s structured reportorial requirements by the listed companies cited in the said PSE Notice will merit the imposition of a trading suspension of their respective shares starting on June 1, 2022.

In this connection, please be advised that the following listed companies have submitted their Annual Reports, using SEC Form 17-A, for the year ended December 31, 2021 (“2021 Annual Report”) and/or Quarterly Reports, using SEC Form 17-Q, for the period ended March 31, 2022 (“1Q 2022 Report”):

  1. AbaCore Capital Holdings, Inc. (“ABA”)
    2. Araneta Properties, Inc. (“ARA”)
    3. Basic Energy Corporation (“BSC”)
    4. DITO CME Holdings Corp. (“DITO”)
    5. Medilines Distributors Incorporated (“MEDIC”)

Given their compliance with the structured reportorial requirements of the Exchange, the trading of their respective shares will not be suspended on June 1, 2022.

Thus, we have seen good candle movements for ABA and BSC for today’s trading. BSC was up by 8.75% and ABA was up by 7.63%

As for those who have not filed their income statements PSE Disclosure states;

Also, as announced in Company Announcement No. C03947-2022 dated May 27, 2022, Philippine Business Bank (“PBB”) disclosed that “(o)n May 25, 2022, the SEC has granted Philippine Business Bank’s request for exemptive relief to extend the filing deadline of SEC forms 17-A and 17-Q to June 15, 2022.”

Further, as of the posting of this notice, the following listed companies have not yet submitted their 2021 Annual Reports and/or 1Q 2022 Reports:

3. Leisure & Resorts World Corporation (“LR”)

Pursuant to the Rules and as previously announced, continued non-compliance with the structured reportorial requirements by the above-cited listed companies will merit the imposition of a trading suspension on their respective shares at 9:00 a.m. on June 1, 2022.
